Pulaski Coroner searching for next of kin of deceased man

Jul. 4—EDIT — As of 12:20 p.m. The Coroner’s Office stated they were able to make contact with next-of-kin. They are no longer looking for assistance.

The Pulaski County Coroner’s Office is asking for help from the public to locate the next of kin for a person who has passed away: Mark Edward Turner, a 59-year-old white male.

Coroner Clyde Strunk said that Turner had previously been at the Bell County Detention Center. When he was released, he came to Somerset to the Protea Behavioral Health Counseling center for recovery treatment.

From there, he entered Hospice, and he passed away while in Hospice.

Strunk said his office is unsure of where Turner may be from. They heard of possible connections to Colorado, but otherwise they have no leads.

“If anybody has any information at all, call my cell phone number: 606-271-1684,” Strunk said.
