MOAB, Utah (ABC4) — Crews responded to several fires in Moab on Tuesday, with one fire spreading to the surrounding brush and another affecting a home.

“Upon arrival, fire crews found the vehicle fully engulfed and the fire had spread to the brush,” officials said on social media.

Crews were able to extinguish the vehicle fire and the fire in the surrounding brush.

A few hours later, after 4 p.m., crews responded to a house fire on Holyoak Lane. When they arrived, officials found “heavy fire conditions” at the home.

Crews searched the home and extinguished the fire, but the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Moab Valley Fire Department said law enforcement and crews will be at the scene of the house fire throughout the evening.
