Bullhead City man arrested on suspicion of fatally stabbing uncle

A Bullhead City man was arrested on suspicion of fatally stabbing his uncle at a residence.

Officials said officers responded to a home near Colina Drive and Ramar Road at about 8:30 p.m. June 29 to reports of a weapons violation where they found 53-year-old Steven Anderson in critical condition with multiple stab wounds.

Paramedics rushed Anderson to a hospital where he later died from his injuries, officials said. Investigators said they later tied the stabbing to 30-year-old Don Kelso.

Fort Mojave Tribal police found Kelso walking near King Street and Highway 95 in Mohave Valley on June 30 at about 6 a.m. and booked him into Mohave County Jail in Kingman on first-degree murder charges.

Kelso’s next court date was not immediately available.
