Jul. 1—ST. CLOUD — St. Cloud police are investigating a “suspicious death” after a body was found Monday morning, July 1, near Tech High School.

The body was found near 4200 33rd St. S at about 11:09 a.m., according to a police news release.

According to the release: St. Cloud Fire was called for a small grass fire in a natural area next to Tech High School. Firefighters found a deceased person at the scene.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the state fire marshal’s office are also assisting in the investigation, according to the release.

Police said there is no known threat to the public, and more details will be released later.
