ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A body was recovered on Sunday, authorities said. Fire rescue crews were alerted around 6:42 p.m.

According to a release from CABQ, Albuquerque Fire Rescue and Bernalillo County Fire Rescue were called to the Rio Grande River near Montaño for a body sighting.

BCFR and AFR located one body, and they recovered it from the river. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
