Gov. Pritzker signs bills affirming rights of LGBTQ+ people in Illinois

Illinois’s governor JB Pritzker wrapped up June by signing two bills that affirm the rights of LGBTQ+ people in Illinois.

The other, SB2930, requires nonprofits publicly report demographic data about their boards of directors. The new mandate is to push nonprofits to reflect the diversity of the communities they support.
