Firefighters battle blaze at commercial warehouse in Weber County


WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Fire crews responded to a fire at a commercial warehouse in Weber County Saturday night, according to Weber Fire District.

At around 8:45 p.m. on June 29, firefighters from multiple agencies responded to a structure fire in a commercial warehouse on 2000 West, Farr West, in Weber County.

Crews arrived on the scene and found “heavy black smoke and flames billowing from doors and windows on all sides,” according to a press release from Weber Fire.

“The interior damage was severe, causing unsafe conditions and making firefighting efforts difficult.”

Fire damage was contained to the original unit, officials said, with a single adjoining unit receiving smoke damage.

The unit is reportedly a total loss. No injuries occurred in the blaze, officials said.

Crews from Weber Fire, North View Fire, Ogden Fire, Roy Fire, Riverdale Fire, and the Weber Co. Sheriff’s Office responded to this incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
