4th of July paired with storm chances, double digits


El Paso, Texas (KTSM) — Hello, Borderland! I hope everyone is staying hydrated as we remain under a Heat Advisory until 6 a.m. Sunday.

Don’t worry: We have another chance of seeing storms once again later next week. This will help us cool off for 4th of July.

In the meantime, let’s get started.

Sunday, we can expect to see sunny skies throughout the day. Humidity will also be a factor in our weather conditions. Our high is forecasted to warm up to 100 degrees. In the evening, we will cool off to 78 degrees.

Monday, we are expecting another triple-digit day and sunny skies as we are predicted to warm up to 101 degrees. Our overnight low is fairly warm sitting at 80 degrees.

We will continue the pattern of staying hot on Tuesday with a forecasted high of 102 degrees, with sunny skies and possible humidity.

Wednesday is when things begin to take a turn. Chances of storms are high. We are predicting 60% chance of storms in the afternoon with a forecasted high of 100 degrees.

We are back to double-digits on Fourth of July with a high of 98 degrees with a 20% chance of scattered storms in the afternoon.

Storm chances and double digits will remain until Sunday.

Next Monday, no precipitation is in the forecast only partly cloudy skies with a predicted high of 98 degrees.
