After a rainy month, many in the Milwaukee area are hoping for warm, sunny days ahead. Can this weekend redeem itself?
For Milwaukee and the southeast Wisconsin region, the forecast is as follows according to the National Weather Service:
Saturday is supposed to have higher temperatures with partly sunny skies during the day and a 30% chance of showers and thunder in the late afternoon. The evening is expected to be partly cloudy.
However, a cold front is expected to move in and bring drier weather and cooler temperatures Sunday through the beginning of the week.
The forecast for Sunday is cool and sunny, with a high of 68 F in Milwaukee and a clear sky Sunday night.
The National Weather Service also posted temperature predictions for other areas of Wisconsin on Facebook.
Outside of a small shower chance this afternoon, looking at a drier end to the weekend. Today will be warm, but a cold front pushes through and Sunday into Monday is looking cooler. #wiwx pic.twitter.com/PRNTg6MzIj
