A missing Kansas woman and her two daughters may have been “coerced to travel to Mexico to a religious rehabilitation facility,” Kansas Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Melissa Underwood said.

The KBI issued an endangered persons advisory for 23-year-old Martha Unger and her daughters, 2-year-old Madilynn Grace Unger and 1-year-old Haylie Faith Unger, after they were reported missing from their rural Haskell County home just before 7 p.m. Friday.

“Investigators wish to check the welfare of Martha and her children,” Underwood said in a news release.

It’s believed that Martha Unger is driving a white 2015 Ford Explorer with Kansas license plate No. 301RJY.

“Investigators believe they may have been coerced to travel to Mexico to a religious rehabilitation facility with Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen,” the news release says. “The Klaasens may be driving a white and black Chevy Blazer bearing a Mexico tag.”

Anyone who sees any of the people involved or either vehicle is asked to call 911. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Haskell County Sheriff’s Office, at 620-675-2289.
