City of Pensacola releases closures, changes to service schedules ahead of July 4 holiday


PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Pensacola officials shared details and schedule changes ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.

According to a news release, the following offices and facilities in the City of Pensacola will be closed in observance of Independence Day:

  • City of Pensacola administrative offices

  • City Hall

  • City of Pensacola community resource centers

  • Roger Scott Tennis Center

The release also noted that there will be schedule changes to the Sanitation Service for the holiday:

  • Monday garbage, yard waste and bulk will see no change.

  • Tuesday garbage, yard waste and bulk will see no change.

  • Thursday garbage, yard waste and bulk will be collected on Wednesday, July 3.

  • Friday customers will see no change.
