A new study from QR Code Generator ranked Floridians’ top fast food chains in the Sunshine State and the results aren’t incredibly surprising – Chick-Fil-A reigns supreme. What is a little surprising, though, is that one of Florida’s least favorite fast food chains was actually founded in the state.

Here’s what Florida’s favorite and least favorite fast food chains are, according to the study.

Chick-Fil-A is more popular than McDonald’s in Florida, according to reviews.

The study used TripAdvisor reviews from 250 fast-food restaurants to find the most popular fast-food chains in the state.

In Florida, Chick-Fil-A is the most popular fast-food restaurant, with an overall rating of 4.33 out of five stars. Five Guys follows close behind in second place, with Whataburger taking third place for Floridian fast-food lovers.

Here’s the list of Florida’s top five favorite fast food chains and their overall ratings out of five stars, based on reviews:

McDonald’s actually ranked among Floridians’ least favorite fast food chains.

What is the least popular fast food place?

According to the study, Florida’s least favorite fast food chain is Popeyes.

Burger King, which was founded in Jacksonville in the 1950s, was ranked as the state’s second least favorite fast food chain. And McDonald’s rounded out the bottom three, as the third least favorite fast food restaurant.

What restaurants were invented in Florida?

Burger King isn’t the only popular restaurant chain that started in Florida. Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Hooters, Outback Steakhouse, Firehouse Subs, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Bonefish Grill and PDQ all started in the Sunshine State.
