NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio (WJW) – The FOX 8 I-Team has uncovered new developments in the case of Bionca Ellis, the woman charged with killing a toddler outside a North Olmsted grocery store.

So many of you keep watching for justice in this case, but we found what’s happening now is hidden from public view.

A Cuyahoga County judge just issued an order under seal.

Ellis was recently indicted for stabbing and killing Julian Wood outside a Giant Eagle.

The I-Team revealed Ellis had been released from jail days earlier after a probation violation when a Rocky River judge did not follow through with a recommendation to get Ellis a psych exam.

Her county case has just begun moving through county court, and again, the docket shows an entry from June 25 with an order by Judge John Russo filed under seal.

A defense attorney we contacted isn’t commenting. County prosecutors aren’t commenting either.

Ellis has acted oddly in court and on police video making faces, asking to be arrested and trying to answer a judge in Spanish.

The next court hearing has been set for next month. Cuyahoga County prosecutors have not announced whether or not they will seek the death penalty.
