Driver of motorcycle in June 15 crash near Grand Forks dies of injuries


Jun. 26—GRAND FORKS — A man who was injured in a June 15 crash near Grand Forks has died.

Nicholas Minske, 35, of East Grand Forks, was seriously injured when his motorcycle and a car collided at the intersection of 32nd Avenue South and County Road 5, approximately four miles west of Grand Forks.

Minske died on June 21, according to a report from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The 17-year-old driver of the other vehicle, a 2009 Pontiac Vibe, faces charges in juvenile court, according to the Highway Patrol.

According to a Highway Patrol release, “the motorcycle was southbound on GF County Road 5. The Pontiac slowed at the stop sign and continued through the intersection of 32nd Avenue South and County Road 5. The motorcycle struck the Pontiac on the passenger side.”
