5 things to do from beer to train ride to meeting Bourque

Show Dad you’ve put some creative thought into what to do this Father’s Day with local events and activities that can be a complement, or alternative, to the tradition of treating Dad to a good meal at one of the South Shore’s numerous great restaurants.

Many of the events below are outdoors and out of the box, from rugby to barbecues and beers of both the root and craft variety.

Sunday, June 16, will be here in just days, so make plans now before these events sell out.
