FWC officers responding to boating incident near Egmont Key


TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is responding to a boating incident near Egmont Key.

According to the FWC, officers are on the way.

“This is an active call, and we are working diligently to gather all pertinent information,” the FWC said in a statement to 8 On Your Side.

A public information officer for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will be the leading investigative agency.
