Have me mentioned that these are really good at staying in your ear? Like, annoying-but-catchy-pop-song good. Well, they’re also “IPX4 waterproof,’ which means they aren’t really waterproof at all but they can stand up to raindrops and sweat. The open-ear design means you’ll be able to clearly hear your music while remaining aware of everything happening around you, too.

Another plus? Minimal sound leakage. One problem with a lot of open-ear headphones is that those around you can hear what you’re listening to, but these are built to keep the sound for your ears only. They’re also ultra-lightweight, which you and your ears will be very grateful for.

This guy picked up on a couple of these cans’ strong points: “I recently started outdoor running, and I wanted a pair of headphones that would allow me to easily hear my surroundings and not fall out while moving. … These headphones exceeded my expectations. The ear hooks are comfortable even with my glasses, and I have not had any issues with slipping or moving while moving.”

Did we mention these are also surprisingly comfortable? “Who isn’t amazed by the sound quality and the amount of bass these things deliver while not intruding in your ear canal at all, or encasing them in cans? I often forget I am wearing them,” another fan said.

Powerful drivers and insulated sound won over this reviewer. As he put it, “At 25% volume, I can easily hear music, movies and phone calls. Even works on a plane, though you have to increase volume. Minimal to no sound leakage.”

Cons 👎

A few buyers were a “touch” disappointed by the controls. One said, “I had issues with the touch-sensitive side buttons, either not working reliably or sometimes accidentally triggering, which was mildly annoying but not a deal-breaker. It would be better if the earphones also included a proximity sensor to let them know if they were being worn.”

Another had a beef with their Bluetooth connectivity. “The main issue is that they were really difficult to connect to Bluetooth for some reason,” they groused. “I tried so many times without them even showing up as an option. I really have no idea what the problem was, or even how I fixed it, I just kept trying “one more time” before deciding they would never work, and eventually they showed up.”
