Lululemon earnings, May jobs report: What to watch


As the day draws to a close, it’s time to look ahead and prepare for the key events scheduled for the upcoming week.

On the earnings front, many companies are set to unveil their first quarter financial results. Among the notable names are athleisure giant Lululemon (LULU), discount retailer Dollar Tree (DLTR), and solar energy firm SunPower (SPWR).

All eyes will be on the highly anticipated May jobs report, which is scheduled for release on Friday. This report will provide insights into the state of the labor market.

Next week, we start off with the economy.

The monthly jobs report for May is coming out on Friday.

The economy is forecasting non farm payrolls increased by 15,000 compared to last month.

Unemployment rate expected to hold steady while hourly wages tick up slightly from April’s report on the earnings will be getting a new batch of companies reporting including crowd strike, Campbell Soup.

But the company also warned that customers continue to be price sensitive.
