Everything you need to know

Got a pencil? If not, grab one because you’ll want to mark this down. We’ve got big news on the summer shopping savings front — it’s starting earlier than ever this year and we’re so here for it. Walmart just announced that its annual Walmart+ Week will kick off on Monday, June 17 and run through Sunday, June 23 — seven whole days! That’s three days longer than last year’s super-savings event and, most importantly, weeks before its main competitor — yes, Amazon, we’re talking about you — unleashes Prime Day. (While there are no official dates for Prime Day yet, we do know it’ll be sometime in July. In the past, the two sales events took place on overlapping days.) The catch? Walmart+ Week, and all of the exclusive deals that come with it, will be reserved for Walmart+ members only this year. So, if you’ve been debating signing up for an annual membership, now is the time, friends! This is one markdown event you don’t want to miss, so keep reading for everything you need to know about Walmart+ Week 2024.

Like Amazon Prime Day, Walmart+ Week 2024 will allow members to score some of the hottest offers of the year for less. (Woo-hoo!) In addition to expected discounts on big-ticket items like vacuums, big-screen smart TVs, home and kitchen appliances, furniture and tech gear, the mega-retailer will also offer extra deals on gas, travel and more.

“As you can see, we’re pulling out all the stops this year to transform Walmart+ Week into a unique experience,” Venessa Yates, general manager and senior vice president of Walmart+, said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to bring back this event as a way to show our gratitude and reinforce our commitment to saving our members time and money.”

Some of the promised savings include:

  • Double discounts on gas — that’s 20 cents off every gallon — at both Exxon and Mobil stations nationwide.

  • Up to 20% back in Walmart Cash when you book everything from flights and hotels to car rentals and activities through Walmart+ Travel.

  • One complimentary Express Delivery — your order will be delivered right to your doorstep in under two hours, without the usual $10 fee.

  • Three free months of Walmart+ InHome, a service that allows items to be conveniently dropped off inside your garage or kitchen by trusted and trained Walmart associates from your local store.

  • Exclusive access to new and unique items.

“Additionally, we’re introducing our first-ever mystery offer, set to be revealed on June 20,” added Yates. “While I can’t divulge the details just yet, I promise it will be worth watching out for.

Walmart+ Week 2024 begins on Monday, June 17 and runs through Sunday, June 23. The hottest items are sure to sell out quickly, so mark your calendar and set an alarm on your phone — you’ll want to act early. Of course, you don’t have to wait to start shopping Walmart markdowns — keep scrolling to see some of our favorite items that are on sale now.

We’re so glad you asked! Being a Walmart+ member is a must if you want to take advantage of the upcoming Walmart+ Week. Our advice? Sign up as early as possible to get the scoop on the members-only deals and discounts.

It’s also smart to sign up if the idea of getting free shipping on every purchase, along with complimentary grocery delivery, sounds good to you. Plus, Walmart+ members can save on things like gas and prescriptions. And becoming a member couldn’t be easier — simply click here, and you’ll have the option to start with a free 30-day trial to see how you like it.
