AL Senator Tubberville questions legitimacy of Trump verdict

HOUSTON CO, Ala. (WDHN) — Senator Tommy Tubberville of Alabama, retired Auburn football coach, released a statement today in support of Former President Donald Trump, who was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records to influence the outcome of the 2016 election.

In his statement, Tubberville attacked the legitimacy of the jury, 12 New Yorkers, as “lopsided,” the gag order issued to “silence only President Trump,” and the prosecutors who he says failed “to outline the alleged underlying crimes.”
