Geely to launch hybrids with more fuel-efficient engines

Due H1 2025

China’s Geely has announced it will launch hybrid models in H1 2025 with its next-generation and more fuel-efficient engine, Reuters reports.

The new models will be launched for its Galaxy series and its Lynk & Co brand.

According to a product certificate issued by government-owned CATARC Huacheng Certification Co, Geely’s engine achieves a thermal efficiency of up to 46.1%.

The firm said this was among the highest in the world.

Earlier this week rival BYD launched two hybrid sedans with its new hybrid technology, priced from 99,800 yuan ($13,800).

“Geely to launch hybrids with more fuel-efficient engines” was originally created and published by Just Auto, a GlobalData owned brand.
