Regional Development Corp. awards eight businesses no-interest loans


May 27—The Santa Fe-based nonprofit Regional Development Corporation this month awarded eight businesses a share of $145,978 in no-interest loans aimed at helping spur growth.

The share of businesses receiving money from the Technology & Manufacturing Fund, or TEAM Fund, include four from Santa Fe County, three from Los Alamos County and one from Taos County, according to a news release from the organization. Each received up to $20,000, according to a spokeswoman for regional development.

They include:

* Broken Arrow Glass Recycling of Santa Fe County,

* Mercury Bio of Santa Fe County,

* NeuroGeneces of Santa Fe County,

* Wolf and Mermaid Enchanted Roasters of Santa Fe County,

* Jona Manufacturing Services of Los Alamos County,

* KALTRON Pulsed Power Systems of Los Alamos County,

* Odysseus Technologies of Los Alamos County, and

* Rolling Still Distillery of Taos County.

The fund focuses on manufacturing and technology businesses located in Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Santa Fe, Taos and northern Sandoval counties, according to the organization’s website.

To date, the organization said, it has awarded $4.7 million in funding to 121 technology and manufacturing businesses across Northern New Mexico.
