Winning ticket worth $25K a year for life sold in NE Ohio — was it yours?


CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – Lottery officials are waiting for someone to come forward after a winning lottery ticket was sold in Northeast Ohio last week.

According to Ohio Lottery, the winning “Lucky for Life” ticket, worth $25,000 a year for life, was sold at Mike’s Convenient Food Mart, 1929 South Taylor Road in Cleveland Heights.

Friday’s winning numbers were: 2-22-31-34-37 and Lucky Ball 9. According to lottery officials, the ticketholder matched all five numbers but not the Lucky Ball.

The winner has 180 days to claim their prize, Ohio Lottery says.

The food mart will also get a $2,500 sales bonus after the lottery win.

So, where do the big lottery prizes stand right now? As of Monday evening, the Mega Millions jackpot is $421 million and the Powerball jackpot is $88 million.
