TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Suspects were taken into custody on Friday after an officer-involved shooting in Haines City, according to police.

The shooting happened on US-27 near I-4, according to a spokesperson with the Haines City Police Department.

Police said all officers involved are safe.

The spokesperson said more information would be released later Friday night.

A Florida Department of Transportation traffic camera showed traffic backed up in the area.

No other details were immediately available.
