Former Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has been appointed as manager of St Patrick’s Athletic.
Kenny has been out of management since his contract with Ireland ended in November. Kenny joins on a five-year deal, with the FAI Cup winners currently seventh in the table.
He takes over from Jon Daly, who was sacked earlier this month.
Kenny is the most successful manager in the League of Ireland, winning five league titles, and three FAI cups. He also qualifyied Dundalk for the group stages of the Europa League.
He left in 2019 to manage the Ireland U21s, before taking over as manager of the senior side in 2020.
