After slogging through the mire of a long permitting process with the city of Orlando, there’s been movement, he said, and work at the 29 S. Orange Ave. property is underway. The permits were filed in 2021, and he finally has them in hand, he said.

“It was so hard, but I’m not mad at the city at all,” he told Orlando Business Journal on April 19. “They do their job; we do our job, right?
