A crash has closed Oregon Route 99W in both directions about a mile south of Amity, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

ODOT said the crash happened at milepost 45.5. The highway will be closed for a few hours due to the crash, ODOT said.

A detour is in place with northbound traffic using Perrydale Road west to McKee Road North then back to 99W, according to ODOT. Southbound traffic should use McKee Road south to Perrydale Road east and then back to 99W.

Drivers should expect delays or use an alternate route, according to ODOT.
