Dog with an ‘adventurous past’ needs a home — but this ‘escape artist’ needs a fence

Molly was bound for the circus. But after that did not work out, this 3-year-old dog with an “adventurous past” needs a home that will give her a normal life.

A Pennsylvania shelter calls Molly an ”escape artist.” Her future home will be required to have a fenced-in yard and a tie out cable.

“Molly was born to run and play. We take the safety and security of our dogs very seriously and Molly is no exception! “ the Humane Society of Cambria County said in an April 8 Facebook post.

Molly initially moved to Pennsylvania from the South and later escaped. She’s been on the run for months, according to the shelter. She was trapped and brought to the shelter in November.

She is the ”sweetest girl,” but she has a shy side. Her future family will need to be patient as she grows her confidence, the shelter said. She could also thrive with another dog in the home, according to the shelter, to help her learn to be “normal.”

She is “always looking for adventure,” according to the shelter, which hopes her next adventure is a new home.

Cambria County is about an 80-mile drive east of Pittsburgh.
