Final day of Allianz Football league, Tipperary face Clare in hurling semi-final



It is a busy day of GAA action, with key games across the Allianz Football league, while Kilkenny await the winners of the Divsion One hurling semi-final.

GAA

Clare and Tipperary meet this afternoon for the right to face Kilkenny in the Allianz National Hurling League Final.

The match takes place at O’Moore Park in Portaloise, with throw in at 4pm.

The Cats beat Limerick by 3-17 to 1-15 in Cork on Saturday.

Derry and Dublin will look to clinch their places in the Allianz National Football League final on Sunday afternoon.

Derry host Roscommon at Celtic Park and a draw will be enough for Mickey Harte’s team to reach the decider – Roscommon must win to survive.

Dublin and Kerry are tied on points, but the Dubs have a superior scoring difference ahead of the visit of Tyrone to Croke Park.

Kerry host Galway in Killarney, and Mayo go to relegated Monaghan.

All the top flight games throw in at 1.45.

In Division Three, Down host Clare and Westmeath are away to Sligo, with Antrim versus Wicklow and Offaly playing Limerick.

All of those matches throw in at 2:00pm.

There are 1pm starts in Division four for the games between Wexford and Longford, Waterford and Laois, Carlow and London and Leitrim and Tipperary.

Golf

Seamus Power is tied for second place going into the final round of the Valspar Championship in Florida.

A third round 68 leaves him on 8 under par, with Keith Mitchell leading on 10 under.

Shane Lowry finished in a tie for 29th at the Singapore Classic, which was won in a play off by Jesper Svensson.

In California, Leona Maguire is tied 12th ahead of her final round at the Fir Hills Championship.

She is five under par.

Alison Lee and Jiyai Sin sharing top spot on 9 under.
