Cork and Kilkenny to face off in Allianz Hurling League

Cork and Kilkenny are both seeking their first wins of this year’s Allianz Hurling League this evening.

They meet at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, with throw-in at 7.30pm.

Wexford will look to build on their draw with the Cats, when they take on Offaly at 5pm.

After opening round defeats for both in Division 2A, Down and Kerry face off in Ballycran from 1pm.

Early Division 2B pace-setters Donegal and Derry do battle in Letterkenny at 2.30pm.

Kingspan Breffni hosts the Division 3A meeting of Cavan and Louth at 2pm.

And in Division 3B, Leitrim play Fermanagh, and Longford face Warwickshire.

Premier League

Manchester City are at home facing Everton in the early game in the Premier League.

Victory for the hosts would see them move to the top of the table, for a few hours at least.

Current leaders Liverpool will look to bounce back from defeat to Arsenal as they welcome struggling Burnley to Anfield from 3pm.

At the same time, Tottenham can leapfrog Aston Villa into fourth if they win at home to Brighton.

Bournemouth are four games without a win ahead of their trip to Fulham.

Luton can put daylight between themselves and the relegation zone if they beat Sheffield United.

Six Nations

France begin their recovery from last week’s defeat to Ireland when they play Scotland in the Six Nations at Murrayfield at 2.15pm.

That’s followed by the meeting of England and Wales at Twickenham at 4.45pm.
