Two dead, several injured following crash outside Kodak Center


Two people are dead following a crash outside the Kodak Center on West Ridge Road in Rochester early Monday morning.

Rochester police said an SUV traveling eastbound on West Ridge Road struck a Mitsubishi as it was exiting the Kodak Center parking lot. The crash happened about 1 a.m.

Two adult passengers in the Mitsubishi were pronounced dead on scene, police said. The driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to Rochester General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said pedestrians were also struck during the incident. One of those pedestrians was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries and is currently in critical condition, police said.

Two other pedestrians were taken to Strong with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the SUV was also taken to Strong with life-threatening injuries and is currently in critical condition, police said.

The crash is currently under investigation.
